These changes are being implemented to make up for some of the snow days we have used.

Snow Make-up Day Plan
 
Day 1 - March 8 make up date - half day with early release at 12:50 PM for conferences
Day 2 - April 5 make-up date
Day 3 -
Day 4 - Days 3, 4 & 5 we add 30 minutes to the day staring on March 9 to May 3
Day 5 -
 
For students, 30 minutes per day for 13 days equals 1 day of instructional time. The current student schedule is 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM.  The revised student schedule would be 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.  Under this plan, the last student day would still be on June 2.  
 
If additional make-up days are needed beyond 5, we would do as follows:
 
Day 6 - add 30 minutes to the day from May 4 through May 20 - The last student day would still be June 2.
 
Day 7- make up on June 3 - which would become the last student day.
 
Day 8 - make up on June 4- which would become the last student day.
 
If we have additional days beyond 8, the board would forgive these days for students so that they would not have to go into the second week of June.
