Adrian Middle/High School Student and Staff of the Month
The Student/Staff of the Month recognition program continues this month, with three new honorees for the month of November. A committee chose from several individuals nominated by staff for their outstanding behavior and positive attitude at school.
October’s Middle School Student of the Month is 7th grader Jonathan Raley, son of Daryl and Nadine Raley. Teachers who nominated Jonathan reported he does a great job of staying organized and wished to recognize the time he volunteers at the community nursing home. Jonathan volunteers his free time after school once a week to spend time with residents at the Adrian nursing home.

Senior Mitchell Sieve, son of Curt and Janell Sieve, is our High School Student of the Month. Mitchell is involved in activities throughout the year, including Student Council, Football, Wrestling, and the Baseball, as well as National Honor Society. Mitchell’s teachers reported he is a “top of the line human being,” who treats all people equally. His empathy toward others makes him truly exceptional. Michell is respected by peers and staff and is a true leader throughout the school year.

Danielle Wedeking was chosen as the Staff Member of the Month for November. She is a first-year teacher who teaches art and coaches volleyball. Even with her busy schedule, she is able to showcase the artists in the school. She “has transformed the school into an art gallery!” as one teacher reported. Ms. Wedeking has been a great addition to the Adrian Middle/High School teaching and coaching staff.
